CREED REVIEW

Creed is the story of Apollo Creed's son, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan), and how he gets to know the legend, Rocky Balboa, but this movie is not only about the fight on the ring, its also about the internal fight of Donnie and how he gets to fight with his feelings and emotions.

The movie brings the Rocky movies spirit and the story line is very good, because you get to know each character deeply. One of the best performances was the one of Sylvester Stallone as Rocky because we see the character that he best plays and you really have the impression that he is no more on the ring but he is still being Rocky Balboa.

I thaught that the antagonist, Ricky Conlan (Tony Bellew), was just there because he had to be, it was kind of a clishe because he is the world champion, and he didn't had motives to fight with Donnie, and I say this because Donnie is amateur on boxing and he hasn't a lot of experience, and his second great fight was with the world champion, this is explained in the movie, they told us that Ricky Conlan gets to fight wuth Donnie because he is the son of Apollo, but I taught that this fight was kind of rush.

Finally, I think that this is an excellent movie that continues very well with the Rocky story and show us Donnie that is a character that wants to create his own legacy and that he wants to earn the Creed name by making his own path, this makes it an excellent and almost perfect movie that rather than show box fights, shows us the fight we have with ourselves.
